Tips For An Effective Passwords

Keeping your password effective and secure will keeps those hackers away and will protect your sensitive information protected from within the organization and from outside threats. Here are some personal guides for having an effective passwords.
- Do change your passwords in a regular basis(i.e. monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis).
- Do use or create at least 7 character password that contains a mixture of capital and lower-case letters, numbers and punctuation.
- Dont use common words or word found in dictinary books.
- Dont use the word ‘password’, names of people, children name and pets name for your password. password.
- Dont use the same password for computer, emails, atm account, credit card, and bank account pin.
- Dont write your password in a paper and other media that can be viewed by people.
- Dont give your password to your friends, and colleagues.
